panel. Stein has shipped it back to me and I should receive it shortly. I h

-We know how that turned out.
-So I did the research on the G500 and decided that was what I wanted. So
I bought it and will have a pair of 430w's with 330 transponder. Also took
out my strike finder for a new WX500 stormscope.
In the G500 install manual they tell you how to wire it up, even though it'
s not supported yet. Near future they said. Well I called the tech yesterda
y to find out how they're coming with the sofeware for the WX500. The field
engineer said, it was not and if they ever do, it would be a least two yrs
.
-So here I am, New panel desighned cut- painted ready to install shortl
y no place to put a strikefinder. I'm begining to feel like I'm dealing wit
h OP again.
-Now I ask you how many retro aircraft out there that would put this kind
of unit in and not have or would want to have a WX500 stormscope in them.
-And yes it will display on the 430w with the little screen, but, You buy
the big screen so you can see it. We have XM weather on portable due to di
fferent planes we fly.
