On my IO-540 c4b5-
1. I leave throttle closed and mixture lean.
2. Run pump to pressurize gauge
3. Crank engine while simultaneously advancing mixture, as soon as you hear
a couple pops open throttle slowly.
4. When it catches go full rich with mixture, or advance mixture to your
regular ground setting.
Cross your fingers!

Here are the scores for the Ohio Contest held over the weekend. The
Salem IL contest will be in a month and it is sponsored by chapter 61.
Everyone is welcome. There is always a good time. Motels are close by,
and camping is permitted on the field...

Thanks again to one and all who braved the 90 degree heat and humidity!
(Better that than rain). We had a great time, met a lot of new people
and flew everyone three times except Primary. Only one short lightening
show kept us on the ground for an hour and a half.
It was a new place for the Ohio contest and we had a few things to
learn, but the net result seems to be that they want us to come back!
So, we look forward to seeing you and having our contest in Marysville
Ohio (MRT) once again in June 2006!
Following are the UNOFFICAL contest Results:
