John Why are you using a radar altimeter? Is it for landing, because I'm using a a common auto backup meter with an extra stage to give a sliding audio tone in the earphones for heights from 5 feet down to 5 inches on touchdown. Ferg, The Europa has plenty of rudder authority at a stall. My mono wheel was fine with rudder. The wing would stall well before the rudder would stop being a control. Plus, the steerable tail wheel is the factor after touch down. Just be quick on corrections. i really enjoyed my bird. Jim Nelson A058 Sold it two years ago for a bigger bird.

I want to add a Ray Allen servo for rudder trim. I have a spare 22AWG - 4 conductor shielded cable that will reach the intended location. Do you see any problem using the shield as the indicator ground from servo? -- Larry Rosen RV-10 #356 http://lrosen.nerv10.com
