Subject: | power to portable gps. |
hi all, radio shack has a good selection of power plug connectors. i
used a size m.....thru the bulkhead #274-1563.
#274-1569 attaches to the wires and #274-1577 duplicates the bulkhead
connector if you want to put one on the end of 2 wires.
i am now thinking about also mounting a setup like this [with an
inline fuse] in a convenient spot so i can plug in a modified battery
maintainer. this will get away from the clumsy battery clips in a tight
place. come to think of it i guess if this wiring was fused at the
battery you could plug in your battery maintainer after you unplug your
gps!
