Probably not. The 2.25" devices are carry-overs from
the heyday of steam gages . . . hall effect sensors
are the adoptees of of digital/glass displays.
Hoever, there are 2.25" devices out there that
are driven by a shunt.

Subject: | Re: Battery Maintainer and Dual System |
After months and months each batt arrive at the same volts within the
accuracy of my cheap meter. Seems to work fine. I have a large truck
(size 65) flooded, a smaller deep cycle AGM for the VW diesel and a
large (65) AGM all in parallel. Quite a diverse combination of
batts. Bob will have to explain how my combo works.

Subject: | 24V Systems and Contactors |
Hey there Bob,
I see that the contactors that B&C supply are only for use on 12V systems;
any idea of where to get 24V ones for use in the Z-Diagrams? Or can one
adapt the 12V ones to use in a 24V system? It looks to me as if I would
have to use a 15 ohm 10W or higher resistor to drop the voltage to the
contactor coil.

Jay
Aircraft spruce has a 24V master contactor.

That style of contactor (as are most other styles) available
in a variety of operating voltages. Check out the
various catalogs under "Contactors" at:
http://aeroelectric.com/Mfgr_Data.html
You can get many of those devices from a number of
sources including:
http://www.alliedelec.com
http://www.newark.com
http://www.mouser.com
. . . and no doubt others.
By the way, our 9024 series power monitoring and
management devices will be available in both 12
and 24 volt versions.
