I don't think this will 'hurt' anything . . . assuming
you can get the terminal into the tool and cycle it
without shaving the insulation. Try one and see what
it looks like. You can do some experiments on pieces
of scrap wire, a few terminals and the two tools before
you attack the airplane.

For these intermittent loads you can comfortably
go 7A/pin on 20AWG wire.
