From: "Peter Eedy" I have only used my 695 a dozen or times over the last 2 years and not at all in the last 6 months, in preparation for an Easter trip, plugged it into the charger and it won't charge. The unit says battery not connected. Emailed Garmin support and they said I need to replace it as there is "software" in the battery pack that won't communicate if allowed to discharge? I would think the Nickel-Metal Hydride cells would still be ok? Anybody know anyone who can recondition these packs? -------- Waiex TD 3330 - VH-WYX - 20% done Newcastle Australia Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=368100#368100 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:21:56 AM PST US Subject: AeroElectric-List: Re: Coolie Hat Switch From: "user9253" The TC648VPA-ND (Digi-Key) or 579-TC648VPA (Mouser) can be used to control the speed of a trim motor. Rather than controlling the speed with reduced voltage, the TC648 applies full voltage, but with a reduced duty cycle (PWM) that is set via the voltage on pin 1.
