I inherited a Lester Electric model 18330 24 volt battery charger in like new condition that is just taking up space in my shop. I've attached the data sheet from Lester. Charger cable is terminated with a three prong Neutrik NC MX plug. From what I've been able to learn online the charger is intended for deep cycle batteries. Can't find a retail price anywhere. $50 plus shipping (weighs 18 lbs, figure 20 lbs all packed. Greetings, A couple of my avionics (GNS430, GMA240 and KI-209 specifically) have pins labelled "Dimmer" and "Lighting Hi/Lo". I'm wondering what the device expects on these pins and havent been able to find out anywhere on the web. I'm thinking Dimmer must be some kind of way of variying the input voltage to vary the brightness of the display and Lighting Hi/Lo is just +14V/GND. Does anyone know? Sacha

One the 430 what the device is expecting on those pins is configured in the s etup menu. But you can have it follow a light bus (on/off/dim) or use the bu ilt in eye to automatically dim the display, buttons and knobs. Sounds like you need a copy of the install manuals. I believe you can downlo ad them from Garmin.
