Can I use a regular Molex connector and just treat the shield like one of the other wires? Is there a better way? I need to connect shielded wiring from my position LED lights at the wing roots. I have two Aveo beacons (Red Baron XP and Red Baron Mini) and they told me that shielded wire is not necessary.
