The image you attached didn't come thru to me but the
data I have on the AK350 Encoder seems to confirm your
observation . . .

Subject: | 12V USB Panel Mount Outlet |
Hi
I have found that my IPAD doesn't seem to charge all that well with the USB outlets
I installed in my panel / console. They are rated at 2.1 amps but I guess
there must be more to it than that.
Does anyone have a part # / recommendation for a mountable USB port.
Inquiring minds need to know....
Cheers
Les

I've been using one from brian@eamanufacturing.com that has worked out
well. His website is still under construction, but you can probably get one
by asking directly. I got mine from the B&B tent at Oshkosh.

Thanks.
The bare wire of the encoder seems no to fit anywhere, but it's usually grou
nd wire. What's the difference with the Black one wich is also a ground wire
?

Be sure to use a 'cord' made for an iPad not a generic. The charging circuit is
in the cord connector. Good luck.
