From: GTH Hi all, Does anyone happen to know the make and model of the connectors on the attached picture ? We would like to fabricate an extension cable for the 912iS fuel pumps, but couldn't get an answer from our dealer or the Rotax Owner Forum. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance, -- Best regards, Gilles http://contrails.free.fr http://lapierre.skunkworks.free.fr ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:50:34 AM PST US Subject: Re: AeroElectric-List: Do you know those connectors ? From: Kent or Jackie Ashton LeadingEdge shows them but backordered. # 881 304 At $135 each (Yikes!) I would just cut them off and use a standard weatherproof auto connectors. https://www.leadingedgeairfoils.com/connector-set-fuel-pump.html Or go to the junkyard, cut off some nice connectors. :-) -Kent > On Jan 11, 2017, at 8:15 AM, GTH wrote: > > Hi all, > > Does anyone happen to know the make and model of the connectors on the attached picture ? > We would like to fabricate an extension cable for the 912iS fuel pumps, but couldn't get an answer from our dealer or the Rotax Owner Forum. > Any suggestions ? > > Thanks in advance, > -- > Best regards, > Gilles > http://contrails.free.fr > http://lapierre.skunkworks.free.fr > > <20161230_154523_sml.jpg> ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:09:46 AM PST US Subject: Re: AeroElectric-List: Do you know those connectors ? Yes, the price and availabilty...that's why we would like to get them from the manufacturer and not from a Rotax dealer. Also we would need the mating female counterpart. > I would just cut them off and use a standard weatherproof auto connectors. > https://www.leadingedgeairfoils.com/connector-set-fuel-pump.html That's plan B. But we would like to avoid modifying the standard wiring etc. > > Or go to the junkyard, cut off some nice connectors. :-) That's plan C^^! Still searching, thanks -- Best regards, Gilles http://contrails.free.fr http://lapierre.skunkworks.free.fr ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 08:06:04 AM PST US From: Charles Kuss Subject: Re: AeroElectric-List: Do you know those connectors ? The drawing in the link you provided looks like a GM WeatherPac connector. I suggest you show this connector to a local "quality" auto parts vendor. Forget asking the minimum wage employees at your local national chain auto parts store. Odds are they will be clueless.
