I powered up the trim system the other day and the flap indicator flickered on for just a bit and then went out. How should I go about testing it and the position sensor without screwing something up? -------- Do not archive Dan Stanton N801S CH 801 N226BS CH701 N24DS CH750 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=471280#471280

I built a tester with some molex connectors to a battery along with a position sensor. I can move the position sensor to replicate the indication that would be provided by the trim motor. I use it whenever I get a bad LED in the bar for testing before I send the indicator back for repair. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of it this weekend.....
