The e-bus and main bus should be located close to each
other. The wires that connect the normal feedpath diode
are short. Risk to those wires is nil. No protection
warranted.

You have two feed paths . . . loss of one is unlikely,
loss of both is exceedingly unlikely.

That's a long feeder that's not so free of risk.
