You could have a charge cord permanently connected to your battery. I secured mine so that its accessible from the oil filler door. Plug in a standard Lithium charger (not the balance charger) while you're playing with the glass. Turn all non essential stuff off and pull breakers. If you have an "essential bus", the EFIS should be on the Ebus and then you can turn the master contacter off saving an amp or so.
