Subject: | Re: automatic switch |
Thanks Stu. I've been studying these switches. One thing I have not been
able to discover is how much current an automatic utility disconnect
transfer switch uses. I would like to know the answer to that question both
for the grid connection and for the "generator" connection. I have found
some spec sheets, but none of them have this information. I have learned
that my application is probably what is referred to as utility-utility
(rather than utility-generator) Another question I have not been able to
answer is whether an automatic switch that is designed for a generator
(which includes provisions for starting and stopping a generator) can be
used in a utility-utility application, without a lot of hassle.

Its me again! I got my earthX battery and it really cranks! I also bought and installed
new REM 40 spark plugs but again, no engine start! I will try the test
suggested by Charlie England and see nor that goes!removing spark plugs and
cranking with them toiuching the engine. I suspect the wire harness because I
do hear the sharp clacking sound...
Well see...
