There are MANY charger/maintainer devices suited
to LONG TERM maintenance of your battery. The self-discharge
rates on SVLA products is very low. You can store
your airplane for at least 6 months and expect a
vigorous cranking effort at the end of that time.
Maintaining one electrically is a VERY low
energy task . . . a maintainer capable of a handful
of milliamps sustaining current will suffice.
So don't spend a lot of money on one. This is
one of my personal favorites

You can buy them now at Walmart . . . at Walmart's
volume stocking and sales prices.
I have several of these in my shop.

Un impeachable logic: George Carlin asked, "If black boxes
survive crashes, why don't they make the whole airplane
out of that stuff?"
