Hard faults in electrical systems are invariably results of (1) poor craftsmanship or (2) really catastrophic distortions of the airplane (like flying into mountainside). Pay attention to wire security and clearance from moving parts . . . don't worry about that dark-n-stormy night scenario. Bob . . . Un impeachable logic: George Carlin asked, "If black boxes survive crashes, why don't they make the whole airplane out of that stuff?"
