Dark and stormy night - electrical system goes >dark along with the engine - flip Ign2 to EMER. How are you going to get a 'hard fault' on the engine bus? Hard faults in electrical systems are invariably results of (1) poor craftsmanship or (2) really catastrophic distortions of the airplane (like flying into mountainside). Pay attention to wire security and clearance from moving parts . . . don't worry about that dark-n-stormy night scenario. Bob . . .
