Yup. Got a few of those laying around too.
A couple of them are permanent fixtures
on my alternator drive-stand.
The ability to detect, quantify and display
electrical phenomena has become so easy
that even the least expensive tools
can perform an order of magnitude better
than the best-we-knew-how-to-do in 1970.
The down-sides for these $low$ tools
are mechanical robustness and environmental
longevity. I've pitched perhaps a dozen
over they years . . . and picked up
replacements on the next trip to HF!
Back when I was doing weekend seminars,
my first question to the room was, "How
many of you have multimeters?" I then
made hand-outs to everyone who didn't
hold up their hand!
Barber Co Rural Fire is having a busy
morning . . . fire-barn just east of my
house emptied out about an hour ago.
Heard radio responses from two other
houses. Winds 22mph/G38 . . . tanker
trucks are step'n and fetch'n . . .

If you're not bound by any type-certification requirements,
pick up something at the local auto parts store . . .
or Amazon.

These regulators share much in common with
the electronic instruments market. Performing
well is not difficult. Parts are so easy
to manufacture that there's little
or nothing to be gained by seeking 'cheap'
production parts. These regulators
have always been paired with ov management
systems so the minuscule but non-zero
risk is easily mitigated.
Short answer is that there is little or
no extra value to be secured by
purchasing from legacy sources of
parts for TC aircraft.
