I have the "BUS" wire connected to terminal 6 protected with a 5 amp breaker on the panel as illustrated. I am now preparing the POH and would like to know under what scenarios I would want to "PULL" the breaker. Thanks Mike Mike Pienaar m ike@vision499.com Mike cell: +1 250-885-0554 1-1100 Tulip Ave, Victoria, BC, V8Z 0A2 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 11:29:32 AM PST US Subject: AeroElectric-List: Re: VOR/LOC/GS antenna question From: "wsimpso1" The expensive commercial splitters and decouplers are one option. The other is building them from Jim Weir's Attenna Reference Text. It is available on this page of his website.at: http://www.rstengineering.com/rst/products/plasticplaneantenna/plasticplaneantenna.htm The highlighted Antenna Reference Text has a whole bunch of guidance on the topic and is downloadable as a .pdf file. Page 34 shows both his NAV splitter applying one NAV antenna to two VOR recievers, it also shows the GS splitter to get a GS off that one NAV antenna. Yeah, you have to roll up a couple 16" cables into a little box and stash it someplace, but it is way cheaper than the commercial gadget. Have fun.
