But what happens when the pilot resets the circuit breaker? Won't it just trip again since the SCR is still conducting? -------- Joe Gores Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=511509#511509 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:32:05 AM PST US From: M Wilson Subject: Re: AeroElectric-List: Re: OVM14 MkIII, rev P1 Yep, you would have to cycle master power first. Maybe something like the attached circuit. Keep in mind that I am not an electronic engineer. I don't even play one of TV. :-) -------- Joe Gores Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=511512#511512 Attachments: http://forums.matronics.com//files/ov_indicator_light__424.png ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 04:48:52 PM PST US Subject: AeroElectric-List: Re: OVM14 MkIII, rev P1 From: "Eric Page" user9253 wrote: > How about using a second SCR for an over-voltage tripped light? I was concerned that much current would come via R12. -------- Joe Gores Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=511514#511514 ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 06:38:23 PM PST US Subject: AeroElectric-List: Re: OVM14 MkIII, rev P1 From: "user9253" I fixed the LED polarity. I kept the schematic simple by not drawing the test circuit, but I think it is a good idea and should be included. -------- Joe Gores Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=511515#511515 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message aeroelectric-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/AeroElectric-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/aeroelectric-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/aeroelectric-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
