Subject: Re: 3-phase current monitor Alternator problems such as loosing one phase or a diode failure result in a higher AC component of the DC output. Based on that, perhaps something like the circuit below connected to an EFIS input will warn if the AC component is higher than a normal setpoint. If the signal is too weak, it could be amplified.
