We have a sound antenna wire going to an AAE L2 antenna. There is a Garmin GDL-82 ADS-B in series with the antenna. The GDL-82 has a Garmin GA35 GPS antenna with a good ground plane. We measured both sides of the transponder antenna with it disconnected and see DC infinite resistance center conductor to ground. The AAE L2 shows DC infinite resistance center conductor to ground. The GDL-82 shows 0 resistance DC center conductor to ground. Again this is DC and perhaps at operating frequency it's not a dead short? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated if a dead short DC is normal for ADS-B and thoughts on E-10 Error on Becker transponder. Thank you. Ron P.
