120V?
As the title says, why not? The old (flaky) glass fuses have always been
used interchangeably across low voltage DC and common 120VAC circuits. Why
the limitation on ATC style fuses? Is there a real, legit technical reason
making them unsafe at 120V, or is it just 'we didn't test/certify, so we
can't tell you it's ok'?
Assuming the fuseholder is enclosed inside the chassis, where prying
fingers can't inadvertently touch the fuse terminals, is there any reason
from a safety or current rating standpoint to exclude its use?

Subject: | O/Vprotection for internally regulated alternator |
Hi
I seem to remember there was a crowbar type overvoltage protection device for internaly
regulated alternators. It had a relay to disconnect the B-lead. Can anyone
shed some light on this or maybe I had a bad dream?
