    Subject: slightly off-topic, ATC '32 volt DC' fuse: Why not
    120V? As the title says, why not? The old (flaky) glass fuses have always been used interchangeably across low voltage DC and common 120VAC circuits. Why the limitation on ATC style fuses? Is there a real, legit technical reason making them unsafe at 120V, or is it just 'we didn't test/certify, so we can't tell you it's ok'?     Subject: O/Vprotection for internally regulated alternator

    Hi I seem to remember there was a crowbar type overvoltage protection device for internaly regulated alternators. It had a relay to disconnect the B-lead.
