Buy a few and set each for it's own gauge. It's the best version of an adjustable stripper. FWIW, I rewired my whole plane with the Stripmaster. I use primarily the Knipex 12 12 14 now when building tube amps - where it's a lot tighter and wires are short and twisted [and you want to stip the last 1/4" of just barely un-twisted wire. Fi. I would like to replace my wire stripper that has recently failed. I am interes ted in a tool that can strip wires in the range 10-22 AWG and possibly s maller wires as the ones sometimes used in avionics and instruments. I w ould buy 2 strippers, if necessary.

Could somebody make a recommendation for a good qua lity, reliable tool?

Thanks.
