Subject: | One Side of Headset Dead, Why? |
I recently switched the shielded 3 wires from a mini music jack to an Aera 660
to provide audio alerts through a GTR200. The three wires connect to pins 18
(music R), 19 (music L), and 37 (music Lo) on the GTR200 and to the respective
white (audio R), brown (audio L), and green (audio common) wires of the Aera
bare wire cable. The mini jack is removed entirely. Now only one speaker in the
headphone works. It's the same for the pilot and co-pilot jacks, and with
two different headsets. Does the Aera need to go through an aux input on the
GTR to keep both sides of the headset working? Thanks, John
