Aeroelectric Team: Please review my initial bus allocations, let me know if I've
missed anything.
I revised my RV-14A build from all-electric; its now mechanical fuel injection
with P-Mags.
1. Mission: Day VFR cross-country is primary; IFR training & use in the future.
2. Engine: Lycoming IO-390, mechanical fuel injection and fuel pump, electric aux
fuel pump.
3. Power:
primary: Plane Power LX60 alternator, B&C LR3D voltage regulator;
backup: Monkworkz MZ30 backup (30a at 1800 rpm);
battery: ETX900 LiFePO4 15.6ah.
4. Avionics: GDU 460 display x2, GTN 650xi GPS Nav/Com, GTX 45R remote mount xpdr,
GTR 20 remote mount radio, GAD 27 interface adapter, G5 backup electronic
flight instrument & backup battery
5. Architecture: Z101 with main and endurance busses; ATC fuse blocks and "Alt
Field" panel mount breaker.
6. Demand by phase of flight is higher than I expect when operating:
I used manufacturer "max" values, vice "typical" numbers for planning; when fllying,
I expect "normal" values will be lower; and I will NOT use everything simultaneously.
I will test e-bus, Pmags, MZ30 at runup.
