If you go this way, it's best to use a switch/breaker that's designed for repeated
manual on/off cycles, like the Klixon 7270 / 7271, or the Tyco W31 / W33.
Read the reviews on Aircraft Spruce before you choose; some don't appear to last
very long.

For those following this thread, an update: Several emails have been exchanged
between Pete, Joe and myself. I've finished a circuit board layout (see attached
image; dimensions in inches), which I'm going to build up and test before
offering to Pete. Assuming it works, I'll post an update here when that's done,
with design files and links for anyone who might need this in the future.
