Well I finally got a chance to condition the brakes.. and give them a proper test. On their best day the Evektor brakes would barely hold the plane at 3500rpm. I stopped testing the Matco brakes at 4900 rpm. So I would say they are an improvement... Also they appear to be easier and cheaper to maintain. Overall I am pretty happy with the decision and the results. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=294956#294956

Can you post a picture of the Matco brakes as they appear on your Allegro?
