I am looking to replace a missing fuse holder like the one shown in the photo.
Would you happen to know where I can find one of these unique screw-in fuse holder?
Secondly, I'm new to Allegro. I'm having starting issues. When I pulled the prop
through to check the oil and then try to start the engine with the auxiliary
fuel pump on, I believe the engine may be flooded. Conversely, if I try to start
the engine with one half inch joke, auxiliary fuel pump off, and throttle
off, I think it may not be getting enough fuel. I have run down two batteries
so far. What is your recommendation for starting on a warm sunny day, roughly
80 F to 90 F ? (hope the photo is viewable. There is no "posted attachments"
to click on per the instructions)

Dee,
You maybe able to source the fuse holder you need from Doug Hempstead at Allegro
USA. That's my source for replacement parts.
The starting procedures are somewhat different for a Rotax engine verses a Lycoming
or Continental. I start mine when it's cold by turning on the aux fuel pump
until I have fuel pressure and then turn off the aux fuel pump, engage the
choke fully, throttle to full idle, both ignitions on, and start. Once it's
running smoothly, I disengage the choke slowly and throttle to 2200 RPM for warm
up.
In subsequent starts after the engine is warm I don't have to use the choke.

Does the engine even attempt to start?
If it isn't firing, don't forget to check the obvious... ignition switche
s on, fuel valve on. Also check that your fuel shutoff knob isn't loose.
The knob is basically a metal rod that runs from the panel to the valve o
n the firewall. Mine once came loose with the fuel valve in the partially
closed position. (which was exciting when the engine started running rou
gh shortly after take off, even though it was getting enough fuel for a 4
,000 RPM runup).
