Yes, we are still going and send parts around the world for Allegro aircraft. If this is in regard to the Ameri-King, the bulletin only requires the ELT to be tested to insure it is working. If it needs to be replaced, the owner/operator is allowed to do this with any battery operated ELT, and, providing they check to insure the aircraft is not pulling more power than the Rotax engine can produce, may also use a direct power replacement. If you need any other parts, please contact us at the number below, or email. Best regards, Doug Douglas Hempstead LSA America, Inc. Good info about the ACK too. Do you know if Doug has issued an LOA for the ACK? An LOA is a Letter of Authority. For S-LSAs any modification or repair which is NOT written in the aircraft manuals, OR a method acceptable to the administrator (procedures in AC 43-13, on-condition inspections, etc) require an LOA from the manufacturer. In the example of the ACK E-04, it's a pretty different setup compared to the Ameri-King. It requires ship power. It's connected to the aircraft's GPS for precise location search. I believe its physical size is different, which will require consideration. It also uses a different mounting bracket. If its weight is different (I would suspect so), it will require a new weight and balance. So, it's not a drop-in upgrade/replacement. -------- N456TS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=473134#473134 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message allegro-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Allegro-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/allegro-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/allegro-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
