I thought I should post a couple photos of wing removal. The maintenance manual
is light on tips and techniques. It quickly became clear that trying to remove
a wing with a couple people holding it, is guaranteed damage to the wing and
mounts. I ended up making some gantries for wing removal and installation.
This give complete control of wing support and angle. It greatly reduces the
risk of bending something. You can then slowly, and calmly lower or raise the
wing with the straps.
