I'm Tom Layton I am a night working semi-conductor technition and also loosing
all my sleep to attend A&P school during the day full time. It's worth it though
:) !! I want to get my A&P to be able to take care of my Yak 55m and Kitfox
better. They have both became a little behind the airworthiness curve and I'm
trying to get them back in shape.

Good evening from SoCal,
I'm not an A&P, but am building an RV-6A & own an aircraft tool company.
While we do a fair amount of business with the RV & Experimental community
in general, the majority of our business is with light to heavy aerospace
manufacturing firms here in the SoCal area & elsewhere. However, we always
like to learn &, if anyone has any questions about sheetmetal tools &/or
their application, please let us know - if we don't know the answer we have
some pretty good sources to get the facts for you.
Blue Skies,
Fred W. Kunkel

hi group...
no doubt this group has and represnets an interesting background. i have an
extensive mechanical background and am an experienced metal worker. i am an
experienced pilot and recently acquired a challenger II. i am a ultralight
basic flight instructor, also. while i am a ga pilot... i plan to be more
involved with the challenger community of flyers and builders to accomplish
personal flying. given the sport pilot rulings planned by faa... i am
planning on securing the faa repairman's/inspectors license proposed for
sport pilot. i have heard it to be an 80-hr course.
i will have to n-number my a/c in sev years, if sp is passed. currently i
want to install a MASTER SWITCH. i like the one covered with red cover. i
think it activates a solenoid at the BAT connection. can any one help me to
source it?
i have a 3 lite strobe. the wire to the front L R wing comes thru a fuselage
bulkhead. about 1/4' +/-, the gray cables have green, red, blk wires in
them about telephone wire size or a bit larger. need to establish a
connection... and connectors so i can disconnet cables when wings removed?
anybody got any rotax service experience...?
hope to hear from you...
regards
jg
