I was wondering what is the cylinder numbering scheme for the IO-540. Also
does anyone know if there is a chart showing the different engines and the
cylinder numbering?
I would also appreciate any references to as to normal engine parameters for
various engines, like CHTs, EGTs, and oil temperature and pressure.
Thanks

Well I think I figured it out... The Continental is cylinder numbering is
like a Lycoming with engine turned 180 degrees.
I was asking as that I am making an engine monitor and had numerous requests
for the EGT and CHT gauges to represent the cylinder placement. See enclosed
bit map, which has a Lycoming on left and Continental on right.
