Subject: | One Cylinder on an M14 Running Hot?? |
Hello All,
I would like to ask your opinion on an engine issue: I have one cylinder on my
M14P that is running about 40 deg C hotter than the rest. (I have a fancy, 9
cylinder CHT instrument, like a JBI). It was #3 running hot
I swapped the leads with #4 cylinder and the indication followed the cylinder -
#4 is indicating hot now = so, in fact the cylinder #3 is running hot and indicating
properly I think....?
I checked the intake tube for tightness and such, pulled the plugs - they look
OK, perhaps a bit white....ish (hot) but not real bad.
I am not sure what to check now or where to look for the problem........and ideas?
I really appreciate any advice or help you can provide.
Thanks all!
