I have designed and built my own mounting and the interference of this USB connector is with the Garmin SL40 that resides right below the 496. My question and predicament remain. Does anyone know if all 5 wires in the Garmin GXM30A antenna are used ??? So far even Garmin has been no help. Larry E. I was trying to figure out how to take the magnet out of one of the older style puck reciever/antennas.
