It had v3.0.0 A04 firmware on it, and we updated it with the most recent version, 3.2.2 When we started it after the upgrade we had lost reference to CHTs for cylinders 1 and 4 Has anybody else had the same experience? If so, how did you fix it? Thank you, John Cleary ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:32:51 AM PST US From: "Mike" Subject: RE: Avionics-List: Advanced Flight Systems firmware upgrade problem John, I have not had that problem, as a matter of fact the only problem I have ever had with the AC2002 (now know as AC2500) is when you short a sensor you loose the other sensors that have the same power supply driver. I have installed over a dozen of these unites over the years and I have one in my plane. The Best solution is to call the boy over at Advanced Flight, they will work through the problem with you directly. I have always thought their tech. support as being one of the best. When the firmware upgrade is initialized, the unit automatically sets itself up for a Rotax engine. You just need to go to calibration mode and tell the unit it has 4 cylinders to monitor. The steps to follow are:- Go to the calibration menu (hold button 4 down on power up) Select 10. CHT from the menu Set Item 12. Instrument ON/OFF to ON Set Item 13. Number of Cylinders to 4. Press the return button 2 or 3 times to return to the main screen.
