Yes, that's my understanding too. Just use one camera (with mount) plus cable and DVR. Add Splitter and extra cameras/cables if required. Doesn't the DVR do the same thing? -----Original Message----- From: Steve Hutt <steve@huttmail.com <mailto:steve@huttmail.com?subject=Re:%20Inflight%20Cameras&replyto=8CA4 7DA38E31AF0-13C-2FC3@webmail-nf16.sim.aol.com> > <mailto:avionics-list@matronics.com?subject=Re:%20Inflight%20Cameras&rep lyto=8CA47DA38E31AF0-13C-2FC3@webmail-nf16.sim.aol.com> Sent: Wed, 27 Feb 2008 9:07 am Subject: Inflight Cameras I've no experience of using these, but they are built specifically for this sort of task... See here: http://www.sport-cam.co.uk/activities.asp These folks are in the UK but I'd be very surprised if there's no equivalent available in the US. Take a look at the Quad Splitter and the 30GB Digital Recorder in the Recording Devices section. Steve

Yes it does... but... be careful of DVRs that may be out there with HDDs. Those drives are designed to work on the ground and you may have problems with them at altitude. There is no known problems with either tape, DVD or memory sticks. Same thing goes for I-Pods with the HDD.
