Subject: GARMIN GPS 296 panel instalation
For those of you who have ever installed a portable GARMIN GPS296 in your panel, using the optional Power/Data Cable, will you please enlighten me about: - White wire, labelled as "Alarm", what is it for? - Brown wire (labelled as "Voice(+) ) and Orange (labelled as Voice(-) ), are these to be connected to the aircraft Audio system? - have you used any of the "Data In" wires (Yellow or Green)? Carlos
