Today flying my KF Vixen 912UL I developed a radio transmit noise. As soon as I pressed the PTT (on either stick) there is a solid sharp buzzing sound in the headsets. almost like something is shorting out. Other a/c and the tower could understand the transmission OK but the tower said it sounded "hollow, like I was talking from inside a can". This is a very recent development. The radio is a 18 month old ICOM A210. I will start checking things on my own but just wondering if I could tap into this wealth of knowledge before I start buggering things up. I was using the built in intercom. Forgot to try with it disabled. Have a great News Years everyone. Drive a FLY safe!
