Any of the usual suspects (Mouser, Digi-Key, Allied, etc) carry them? Thanks, James ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 11:43:07 AM PST US From: Doug McNutt Subject: Re: Avionics-List: Narco Transponder Tray Coax Connector At 12:52 -0500 7/4/13, wrote: > >Can someone point me to the part number/source for a replacement 90-degree, bulkhead, slide-on, coax connector used on the Narco AT-150 transponder tray? Bracke Manufacturing, LLC CC. sales@brackemfg.com Pasternaclk Enterprises, Inc CA techsupport@pasternack.com Both of those keep sending me catalogs but I have never bought anything. Prices are way up in the sky and they seem to want to know how many thousands you want. The Digi-key web site tells all. Mouser is catching up rapidly. I may have a used Narco tray here. Offline to dmcnutt AT same domain with Narco in the subject. Is that transponder still legal? There were some problems with it two decades ago. -- --> The best programming tool is a soldering iron <-- ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 02:08:03 PM PST US From: Kelly McMullen Subject: Re: Avionics-List: Narco Transponder Tray Coax Connector Single AD to comply with a Narco service bulletin back in 2004 with regard to responses to mode S interrogation. Only applies to a certain serial number range. Any Narco transponder from AT-50 up through AT165 use same tray and pinout. So even if one specific unit is bad, there are plenty of good ones in service to get a replacement. It mounts to the tray the same way (cir-clip) but has a BNC on the other end so you don't have to try to solder the coax on which is a challenge.
