I mentioned Aeroshell 22 because that has been the "norm" for years. The problem with it is the carrier fluid will leak out making the grease virtually useless. Synthetic grease like Mobil 28 doesn't have that problem. I understand Boeing uses it in their new airplanes. cheers carmine pecoraro >From: "Hebert, Richard" >Reply-To: beech-list@matronics.com >To: "'beech-list@matronics.com'" >Subject: RE: Beech-List: A36 Gear Lubrication >Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2004 20:47:26 -0800 > >--> Beech-List message posted by: "Hebert, Richard" > > >Hi Bob, > I'm trying to stick to the manufacturers specs but don't have experience >with this side yet-and I don't have the maintenance specs with me in >Seattle this week. > >My main concern was that since I'm using a cleaner/degreaser this weekend >to wash my gear, I wanted to also go back afterwards and provide grease or >lubrication. >I've looked at the Zerk fittings and know that when I clean - I'd want to >re-lube.
