Thwing" Hello List: Does someone have one of the "Official" Beech lead washers used for balancing the ruddervators they could measure and weigh and provide me the specs? I asked for this info a couple of years (and computor crashes) ago, Listers promptly responded, and now that I need the info, I just can't lay my hands on it. I recall that the washers are 3/4 wide by 1/16 thick, with a .187 hole in them. If anyone can confirm those measurements and add the weight in grams of ounces, I would appreciate the help. I searched the archives, but found nothing. I removed my ruddervators this weekend to balance them to the new AD spec. Years ago, I had them professionaly painted and balanced to the previous spec. Each of my ruddervators had two weight screws in each tip. When I removed the tips, I was very surprised to find NO washers in either side. I hope I got the job I paid for and to achieve the new balance I can put up to the eleven allowed washers in each side. Regards, Randy L.
