Subject: questions for Neal La France
--> Cadet-List message posted by: "Charles Petrone" <CDP@nrc.gov> I recieved your information package, thanks very much. 1. Are there any active builders or other completed projects out there? 2. I understand that basic materials like spruce and 4130 tubing and sheet are available from suppliers like Aircraft Spruce. Is anyone making machined parts like landing gear parts or fittings for the Cadet or do we have to fabricate them from scratch? Is it feasible to obtain these parts from an unairworthy production Cadet? 3. Has anyone tried to add an electric gear motor to replace the hand wheel? 4. Are the plans available now? How are they ordered? I noted that someone asked if there was a source for the O-200 Continental. I recently saw an ad from Mattitick on Long Island in New York advertising zero time engines for about $15000. Thanks, Chuck Petrone Chuck Petrone, OES/RORP/DRIP/NRR cdp@nrc.gov; 301-415-1027
