--> Cessna-List message posted by: "Garrou, Douglas" <dgarrou@hunton.com> The voltage light in a 1974 Cessna 172M comes on during left turns (!). No noticeable movement of the needle. In level flight, if the master is switched on and off, the light extinguishes and doesn't come on again until... the next left turn. Previous efforts to fix the voltage light issue (when we had noticed it was coming on for no apparent reason, but before we discovered the "left-turning-tendency"), focused on the battery connectors and diode, which have since been "fixed." Aside from restricting flights to airports with right-handed patterns, any ideas? Cheers Doug Garrou
