(From my observation of early 70s rental Cessnas, this is not unusual). Specifically, there's a switchable white overhead dome light, hardly ideal for night flight, and a tiny red floodlight that apparently comes on when you turn on the nav lights. The best way to describe the cockpit interior at night is "dark." Are there any effective, cheap fixes to this situation that are slightly better than clipping flashlights to my body? Cheers Doug ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 03:18:58 PM PST US From: "LaCosta" Subject: Re: Cessna-List: Let there be light --> Cessna-List message posted by: "LaCosta" Clip a light to your forehead............. or hold one in your mouth .LOL ----- Original Message ----- From: "Garrou, Douglas" Subject: Cessna-List: Let there be light > --> Cessna-List message posted by: "Garrou, Douglas" > > The cockpit lighting in the 1974 172M that I partner in is really, really > pathetic.
