I'm acquiring a 1973 182P. Does anyone know how to get an official POH for
the plane?

The POH does not exist for your airplane. All that was produced up throug
h the '76 year model was the "Owner's Manual". There was no required manu
al produced to each specific aircraft. As long as all the required placar
ds are there, and a copy of the '73 Owner's Manual (and since there is not
much difference, even a '72 or '74 manual might be OK), you are good.
I see owners manuals on E-Bay a lot. Another source is here - http://www.

Thanks Rich! You know, for a forum that doesn't get much action, your
response sure came quickly! I guess there's a few of us out there still
lending a hand if we can. Sure appreciate it!

One correction, I see for the '76 C-182 they went to the POH. I also own
a '76 Grumman AA-1B that does not have a POH, Grumman started producing
POHs the following year. And the Grumman forum is much more active here.
