It turned out to be some type of a "mud dobber" creature. It had plugged up the drain hole that comes out right by the rear entry door. It drains the backward scoop on the top of the cabin. I have a piece of twisted safety wire that is part of my preflight kit. Another creature plugged my Fuel sump drain. Not in the tip of the tube but way up by the sump itself. A Cessna 310 throttle cable worked well to remove the plug. It's nice living next to a junk yard. I also bought a cover from "Bruce" At least our drought ended. bilbo ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 06:52:45 AM PST US From: Stephen Crow Subject: Commander-List: Navigation --> Commander-List message posted by: Stephen Crow Happy New Year. As I have said many times before, running these Lists and creating the many new features is truly a labor of love. I will be shipping out the third and final shipment of Flight Bags and A&P Text Books this afternoon. According to the Post Office, maximum delivery to the most remote of areas is 8 days. I will have no outstanding Gift requests following this shipment, so if you don't get the Gift(s) you requested by, say, the 20th of January, please let me know via email. I would also once again like to thank Andy Gold of the Builder's Bookstore ( http://www.buildersbooks.com ) who so generously supported this year's Fund Raiser with both free and substantially discounted merchandise!! Below you will find the 2002 List of Contributors #2 current as of 12/31/02! Have a look at the list of names there as these are the people that make all of the services possible! I can't thank you all enough for your support and great feedback during this year's Fund Raiser! Once again, THANK YOU for making this year's List Fund Raiser successful! We were successful in the nose wheel. I ran up the engines in preparation for tomorrow's flight to the border(FL/GA border) run up was great Parked the airplane and when I went to tie down the right wing I found Hydraulic fluid dripping off the right nacelle. Upon inspection, the pump I just had overhauled(less that 20 hours ago) was leaking in the same spot as it did when I sent it out. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Will It ever stop? bilbo ________________________________ Message 12 ____________________________________ Time: 07:16:51 PM PST US From: "n414c" Subject: Re: Commander-List: never ending --> Commander-List message posted by: "n414c" No. Milt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bow" Subject: Commander-List: never ending > --> Commander-List message posted by: "Bow" > > After 2 months with the tail pipe episode, I set out today to tweak a couple > of hydraulic leaks in the nose gear well.
