Subject: Wanted: WINSLOW AEROFILTER CO SOCKS! My bird needs a pair of new SOCKS! I am refering to the Winslow Aerofilter Co. Full Flow filter cartridge P/N 1AO586 or for the kit that includes a new seal for the pressure vessel an new nut for the marmon clamp, the P/N is A0286. These were the original FULL FLOW oil filters of the 60's and 70's.. Pretty big, about 9 inches long and 4 1/2 inch diameter, contained in an equally impressive pressure vessel. These Oil Filters were installed by STC on a number of civil aircraft, including: Aerocommander 560, 690 and 720 series, Beechcraft 50 and 65 series Bell 47 and 476 series Stearman 75's Dornier Do28-A and -B Hiller UH12 series helicopters The military installed them on just about anything with a reciprocating engine. Mos people have converted to spin-ons, which makes me hope there are lots of these things sitting around in the corner of somebodies hanger. If you have any,,, I will be glad to take them off your hands. If you know of anyone that has some... pass the word, or let me know who/where. Thanks for the help. I just took my second Collins AP106 out of a commander 695a for a meggitt 2100 upgrade and the old stuff is starting to pile up on the shelf. This is a complete system, computer, 4 servos, control panel, PLUS the IDC altimeter, VS and preselect you need to make this all work. A couple of sensors are also included ... the only thing missing is the yaw detector. It was working when removed, but has no warrantee. Contact me at tom@bhmassociates.com if you have an interest Tom Bijou 800-500-1650 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:02:10 PM PST US From: "Martini Luc J.R." Subject: Commander-List: GO-480 engines??? 10133 Prop Blades Wanted --> Commander-List message posted by: "Martini Luc J.R." I have been told that the early aerocommanders used the GO-480 engine. Is that a correct statement. I know that these engines were also STC'd for the Navion, and I believe some Beech aircraft. I am looking for a set of 10133 blades (about 96 inch big boys) which would have fit on these engines using hub HC-82X20- or HC-A2-X20- . I did notice that somebody on the list indicated that the Military had used this prop on their commanders if anybody out there knows where to get some of these blades... Give me a holler. Thanks Luc Martini... I need a double about now!
