Isn't that a '48 Buick in the background on the last pic? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Schuermann" Subject: Commander-List: pugly piper pix > --> Commander-List message posted by: Chris Schuermann > > have had several inquiries as to how our piper restoration is > progressing so I've slapped up a few pictures in case anyone is interested: > http://members.cox.net/cschuerm/ > > chris > > ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:05:32 AM PST US From: Chris Schuermann Subject: Re: Commander-List: pugly piper pix --> Commander-List message posted by: Chris Schuermann Nico van Niekerk wrote: > Isn't that a '48 Buick in the background on the last pic? Sounded as smooth as silk. Flew triple 2 to Hoquium, WA today. Had a great trip. Only 100 miles. There is a great restaurant there with a view of the ocean. We went over low, 1500, up the Columbia River and back direct over the mountains. It was a great trip. Saw an old "T Bone" with a broken rudder. It had been gust locked and during a 70mph storm it literally ripped it in half right at the gust lock!! Ugly. Anybody else fly this weekend?? jb ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 10:34:49 PM PST US From: "Nico van Niekerk" Subject: Re: Commander-List: pugly piper pix --> Commander-List message posted by: "Nico van Niekerk" Not much, bilbo, Chris just posted some pics of an apache (looks like an aztech to me with the extra window; could be wrong though) that he's fixed up real nice (at http://members.cox.net/cschuerm/) and I saw a '48 Buick in the background on the last pic and I mentioned that that Buick has a straight 8 engine that I remembered looking at as a kid. Nothing much.
